Description

Want to port player models to Garry's Mod without having to do all of the tedious processes? With this tool you can skip the vast majority of the steps or do it in less time with this!

This tool features:

• Rename bones and repose skeletons automatically
• Generate ragdoll collisions
• Realtime material preview
• Compile your models into addons with just one button**

*Still needs a few steps and can still be buggy, but often only takes a few minutes

This is not an official tool, nor it is affiliated with Valve or Garry's Mod in any way

There are currently some limitations to this tool, and it doesn't have every feature you can get by doing everything the manual way, but it does have the majority of features that most models need, and this software will be updated for improvements and new features, you can report bugs

Currently, GLTF files are fully supported, FBX files are supported but it is very experimental and recommended to use GLTF if possible

I know there's other source games and they all use very similar formats, but for now I made this tool so I could easily port models over to Garry's Mod.

  • The link is listed in the install instructions when you download this program, but you can use this link for convenience

• I'm having a problem with my model / this app
  • You can report it on the forums on this page, or alternatively on the GitHub page, but the Itch method is preferred for the fastest response. There is no official Discord server for this tool (although if you have made an unofficial one, you share it in the forums and I'll put it up here), although I prefer to keep problems and solutions publicly available for everyone to see without having to make an account
